Oh man, I'm not even into half the stuff Comic-Con is all about, but I'm itching to find my way in anyway. I've read way too many awesome accounts of all the awesome things that go on there. XD
And oh god, yes. Mostly because of all the things that get announced there. Info gets released on just about every major comic-related, sci-fi/fantasy thing there. Everything from WoW to Avatar. I love it!

It does sound exciting, like the theatre conventions I went to in high school, but with WAY MORE PEOPLE AND THINGS and none of the SWARMS OF SILLY HIGHSCHOOLERS. Ugh, I could die for something like that, all the cool stuff and no drama!

I love cons! I try to go to one or two every year. Going to Darkover this year (I hope) and if I can manage it, World Fantasy (which is so awesome and huge).
Oh, yeah! I was trying to find one to get involved in but I couldn't come up with a fan-fic character I thought I could play that wasn't already taken! I need to watch less popular television. ^-^ If you do make it to World Fantasy, be sure to relate all the sweet details!
I dunno, would you be interested in realityshifted? It's all canon characters, LJ-based, and set in a sci-fi weirdo place called the Astral Plane. Very Matrixy!
