For Great Justice!
Jun. 3rd, 2006 08:23 pmI've found two new, squeelicious animes. Honey and Clover, and Air. Both adorable, both very pretty, both with awesome (and adorable) characters. I downloaded them randomly after hearing good things about them (I don't think many people have heard of them, either). Unfortunately the Kodocha torrent ended up being all raws, so oh well.
My Dad's birthday is tomorrow, so I went to Borders to get him his gift. And finally read Kenshin 25. Go Yahiko! Go Kenshin! Whee! *koff* Yes. I think I'll be the one baking the cake or making the strawberry soup--it depends on when I get up. Um, for birthday dinner, that is.
Since I was bored enough, I scoured my brother's collection of video games last night and ended up putting in Legacy of Kain. Which turned out to be interesting. I mean, a vampire and a weird little soul-sucking...thing. (I don't know the story). Woot. It'll tide me over until I get my hands on something else.
I'm back to the Mot groove, too! I'm going to have a visit with the bad guys first and then we start getting into the good stuff. Like Morgan's familiar. And more stuff about Taenailo. And...J!!! J is coming! And it will be FUN!
I've pretty much got all of the first book planned out. There's some in-between stuff I need to think of, and unfortunately I'm still stressing a wee bit about the length, but oh well. I need to start thinking about the second book, and the third maybe. Thus far I only know a few key points that happen in the next two. And I don't want to finish this first one with no idea of what comes next, which is kind of what happened with Alch. Alch, of course, was a lot less interesting all around, but I think a reason it fell apart is because I didn't do enough planning for the future. As for Penta, well, the second one only came to a crashing standstill because I still haven't written the beginning and I'm not sure I like the plot in general. Though I'm liking it more now. Though I don't think I want to work much on Penta 2 before I finish the rewrite. In any case, if I really devote myself to this all, I'll probably have the rewrite done by the end of summer, along with the first Mot and hopefully a lot of outlining. Mot takes front burner for now, however. Kaiyss and his gang and Fox and his gang will have to wait, for now.
As for the E and Kail backstory, I'm almost done with it. After this culminating moment where they realize how madly in love with each other they are, I'm thinking some more gratuitous cuteness and it'll be over. The title is "How They Met" anyway, and I was never intending to continue the story until the start of Mot 1.
One thing good about running out of ideas for jobs is that I'll have a lot of time to write. I really do need a job, though...I'm gonna use this weekend to come up with a Plan B and then go out and apply places during the week. When chilluns are still in schooly.
