Title and Stuff

Well, I did it. I made it to the culminating moment of the E and Kail backstory, and it is adorable and emotional and a bit steamy, frankly. It's not the first time I've written something like this--I got just about everything out of my system in the Kaz backstory--but I still can't write love scenes without turning a bit red. Even when there's no sex. Never written a sex scene. I write everything leading up to sex and then a convenient page break later it's the morning after or thereabouts, the way soap operas do it. And in any case I'm turning red just writing this so I think I'll stop.

Phoooo...

I've been staying up really late lately. As in, until five AM. Which is insanity. But I suppose writing makes for a good excuse, though most writers I've heard of say they get up early to write, not stay up late. But I'm a night owl, what can I say--do my best writing at night. No one bothers you then or looks over your shoulder and giggles in that way that totally shatters your confidence. *sigh*

I'm really not as pathetic as I sound right now.

Finally found a Kodocha torrent. I'm also downloading two other animes I've heard about that sounded interesting. Very slow so far, so I can't report on any of them, and I'm not even sure about the quality of the Kodocha one. Ah well.

Oh, and I didn't get the job at Borders. So I need a plan B. Gah.

That's about it. It's been a slow week. Summer dayz...

Oh, and can I just say that I've fallen madly in love with Frou Frou?

That's the sound my soul made when I saw the video game selection at both Hollywood and Blockbuster. It's the sound of a soul vomiting. Try to imagine that for a second. You can't can you?

In any case, they didn't have a single FF game at Blockbuster--not a single one!!!!--and nothing else that I recognized as being something of interest. Hollywood had FF X-2, which I haven't even heard of. They also didn't have the first Kingdom Hearts, which I've been thinking about picking up because I've heard good things about it, and I figure I should play the first one, you know, first. And nothing else from the recommendations I got.

I need video games. It's like a law--when anime junkies start running short on their drug of choice, they turn to the next best thing and play video games. Oh screw it, anime has nothing to do with it. I just want games. To occupy my time and entertain my mind and improve my motor skills and cetera.
