And today was going to be a good day!

So yeah, I went to the orthodontist today and spent 2 hours in pain while they re-attached one of my brackets and put all the little rubber tags back on, and then they decided it would be fun to try and force my fang-teeth (cuspids??) to rotate using little wires, so now, just as I'm starting to be able to eat again, I'll have to wait for the aches to go away. *sigh*. Braces be fun.

Spent a while on Kazaa, and thankfully none of the songs I downloaded had evil codes or went wonky on me. Get a woot woot!

And...uh...

Well, in the world of Taranthar, things have slown down to a crawl. I've got nothing. Nothing. Nothing. It's miserable. Rowan's at point A, Fell's at point B, I need to get them to point C before the Archipelago of the Vazraal (evil island chain) appears on the horizon, and there's some stupid stuff I have to resolve. So I'm thinking of taking Christina's advice and rethinking the whole wake-up scene, and rewriting a lot of it. I do not like where it's going since that scene.

I think the emotion may need to be toned down or at least sharpened, things seem a little corny right now.

Blah. That's about it. I'm thinking of succumbing and posting bits and pieces of the book here, or maybe on elfwood, but I don't know. Still got that fear of copyright infringement, since there would be nothing I could do about it if someone stole my shit.

Well, on LiveJournal, you could make the entries with your writing friends only, so now vagrant readers pick up your stuff. As for ElfWood, if you really want to post something of yours I'd change the names and maybe a bit of the plot... Minor things, like instead of going to an island they go to a desert, or whatnot... Just little bits and pieces of the story that really have nothing to do with the main plot at all. Me, I got lucky because the novel I posted there I decided not to write anyway ^-^ But y'know, EW's pretty safe. I've never head of a case of copyright infringement, though that's not really saying anything.
Ah, man, those little wire thingies were hell. Hope that gets to feeling better soon. Orthodontists are brutal. >.
