Got a case of the writer emos again. I hate reading something amazing only to feel inadequate in comparison. It just feels selfish.

I just really wish I could write and be amazing instead of writing and being mediocre.

Dude I am right there with you. When I read you and Heather RPing I go green. IDK who you're comparing yourself to that makes YOU feel mediocre but they must be UNBELIEVABLE. Nobody I know has such diverse OCs who are still ALL believable in all varied the niches of personality, and beyond being believable, they're all multifaceted and complex.

I know during these kinds of crises it's not like me saying this will suddenly turn your whole mindset around, but it's what I really do believe so I might as well say it anyway: you are faaaar from mediocre. I would kill a puppy to be as good as you.

YOU KNOW I think all writers get this from time to time and yeah it's not easy to pull oneself out of BUT ALSO FOR THE RECORD, YOU'RE A REALLY, REALLY GOOD WRITER. Your posts always make me go :D because of all the detail and DUDE your characters are so well-rounded and omg
