Tales of the Abyss has pretty much slayed Julie and I. It started out as this campy and kind of whatev game. Then it started getting all political and the storyline got a shitload more complex. And now it's become this emotionally-charged, super-complicated game full of questionable ethics and moral dilemmas and oh-my-God-awesomeness. I never expected it to get so intense. And I like the main character a lot more now.

The RP has likewise gotten crazy-intense and awesome.

Also, finally managed to read Tammy's "Terrier," since we had it for ARF (my independent study, in which we read sci-fi/fantasy all. the. time). It's definitely my favorite of Tammy's books (though I think I still like the Emelan world better). Beka is awesome. The language is awesome (I still find myself thinking in the slang). It was somewhat trying since I ended up staying up till 4:30 to finish it. But it was so worth it. Brilliant on all accounts.

CNS has apparently been repaired, maybe? ASIC is back there, though there's been no word about my classes.

Also, Mot is going swimmingly.

More TotA now, kthxbye.

Sounds like I should give that a try. I enjoyed Tales of Symphonia enough. I liked the combat system and plot. Kinda reminded me of what you're talking about: Something that starts out simple enough but eventually becomes more complicated and the REALLY complicated, but in the case of ToS, the plot eventually boiled down to something simple again.

In America, it's only for the Gamecube. It's easy enough to find, but as I recall, you have not a Gamecube or a Wii :(

Yup, backwards compatible. Plus it has the virtual console where you can download a slew of old-gen games, so one could say it is SUPER backwards compatible, lol.

You should be pissed off at the PS3 for being so expensive and not having very many good games.

I am loving Gurren Lagann. I haven't seen it before, although I watched today's episodes before ASIC to make sure that the conversion went fine (and because I was bored at work) which is how I knew about the girl in box.

I would have watched to show sooner, but I wanted to wait until ASIC to make it more fun.

It is so good though. Voice acting, writing, art, animation, plot... it's all top-notch. It is climbing it's way up my favorite anime list very quickly and if it keeps this up, it might beat Death Note...

I was sad about Kamina's death, but as I was discussing with Alec, it really had to happen. His character had nowhere else to go and every other character has everywhere to go. As the inspirational character, he means more in death because otherwise, he would just get annoying. Plus, talk about going out with a bang.

Have you seen the whole thing?

Yes, but not EVERY Super Nintendo game, just the ones they've released so far. They've also got NES, N64, Sega Genesis, and TurboGrafx games.

Yeah, Nia looks interesting. Her pupils are awesome.

Nope, though I'll let you know if they ever do.

Hehe, maybe.

Why, the RP? Well, you could just ignore me, lol.
