Finished the third season. Now trying to get a hold of "Voyage of the Damned" and "Time Crash," since apparently we must see them.

So, uh,

Captain Jack Harkness is the Face of Boe and that's about the only thing that made this episode emotionally bearable. It was painful. Emotionally painful.

Like, seriously, how can one man have so much shit happen to him, have so much go wrong in his life, lose absolutely everything and still, like, live?

Oh my God, someone, please go be his companion now. He tries so hard to be all nonchalant but Christ he's the loneliest person in the universe and he needs friends. Now.

The Master dying in his arms was almost too much. I've read up enough on the Master's history to know how much they mean to each other. Best enemies kind of thing. Never mind that they're the last two in the entire fucking universe.

Oh Doc. I'd go with you just to keep you company, never mind all the planets and civilizations and time travel. That'd just be a bonus.

God I sound like a psychotic fangirl. I'm not, really, but still. I have a thing for lonely, tortured characters.

Time Crash is on YouTube and it's only like 5 minutes long but it is SO good.

Voyage of the Damned is great and probably my favorite of the X-Mas specials so far. Have you seen the other X-Mas specials?

I loved that CJH was the Face of Boe. I know they pulled it out of their asses at the beginning of Season 2, but it works SO well. Still not gonna see Torchwood though.

Bet you're glad the Master's not really dead though. Though it seems we won't be seeing him in that body, since it's all burned 'n stuff.

Oh, IIII can't deciiide whether you should live or die...

-"Does he still have that rubbish beard?"
-"No, no beard this time... Well, a wife."

Actually I liked the X-Mas specials. The first one isn't great, but it's technically David Tennant's first episode, so it's good for that, and the second one is good and involves next season's new companion.

Well it's implied that he's rich and famous, so it wouldn't be any harder for him to get around than, say, Cassandra.

Well, you saw her picking up THE RING right?

It's probably the same. And probably just as hilarious.

Yep. Although a lot of people don't like the new companion, I think she brings something new to the table (i.e. a female character that isn't "Oh, Doctor!" all the time).

It's called "living forever".

Lol! Well, after the Harry Potter reference in the Shakespeare episode, I wouldn't put it past them.

I liked Martha, but she spent too much time fawning over the Doctor. I feel like it stunted her character's growth potential.

I guess. I dunno. Hard to say.

It was brilliant, but I also really liked the part where Shakespeare hit on the Doctor and he responded with something like, "50 academics just punched the air." That episode was very good.
