Well I knew that Naruto fans are "Narutards," so it seemed not that big of a leap, lol. Whovians...no, I think I'd prefer to call myself a "Tard," if anything.
I love the names that fans give themselves, even though it's usually so cheesy. X-Philes, Brown Coats, Losties, Trekkies.
I love fandom itself. If only to watch it from the outside as all that incredible wank goes on, hahaha.
Hmm, I dunno, I don't see "Tard" being used in a fandom context very smoothly. "Hey are you a 'Tard'? Lol!" *PUNCHINTHEFACE!*
How 'bout "Patients"? Y'know, since he's the Doctor? Lol.
Fandom is great. Ever see the movie "Trekkies"? It's so awesome. There's a part where a bunch of Trekkies dressed up as Klingons go into a Burger King to get some food (ordering in character) and then the cameraman asks the employee if he ever served a Klingon before and he said "Yes, haha." Good times.
Haha, true. Try using that around my mom (she works with special needs students). She'd probably hit me, lol.
Haha, that sounds a little...kinky, somehow. Dunno bout that one.
Oh yes, I love fandom. I hate being involved in it because it gets so fucking dramatic, but it's just so hilarious and awesome. And I haven't seen Trekkies, though I kind of want to. What's great is when you're at a con and you all go out with your name tags still on and people are like "are you here for like a meeting or something?" Haha, oh man.
