Whoa, MRSA has jumped out of the hospitals? Shit.
Staph is pretty communicable, I think. I'm amazed more people haven't gotten sick. It's a good thing they're jumping on this now, though. We need to figure out how to deal with these superbugs, and soon.
If you don't know the story--pretty much, MRSA, which is a antibiotic-resistant form of Staph that you usually only find in hospitals, was found at some schools in Florida and around. I think there are ten or so confirmed cases and one death so far. It's nasty shit.
Man. It's only a matter of time before drug-resistant tuberculosis hits our shores, and then what are we gonna do? Bring back the TB sanitoriums? Yeah, that'll go over well.
