Well, Shit

Everyone's been telling me that Vector is pretty much a scam. Wonderful. Not sure what to do about it. If someone else gets back to me with a job offer, that'd be awesome, but what choice do I have? I need a job, I already accepted, etc. etc. Damn it. Fucking world.
Well. Let's just hope that someone else gets back to me before Thursday. My only other options at this point are Blockbuster or Starbucks. Woot.
Anyway, here's another movie review for y'all.
Hostel
I didn't see the fist one. Didn't want to see this one, but hey, it was a night to hang out with friends.
Not worth the eleven bucks. It was horrible in all ways it is possible to be horrible. Bad plot, bad dialogue, bad acting, bad pacing, and it was neither scary, gory, nor interesting.
The premise is that there's this ooh-scary-secret organization that pays to get young tourists so they can torture and kill them. Which could have been an interesting idea if they had actually fucking done something with it.
Yeah, it was gory, and of course it was gratuitous, saw that coming. There was a nice moment of comeuppance, but that was about it. Not that I went into it expecting it to be good at all.
And more than that, they took forever to get to the actual stuff. They spent about 98% of the movie just building up to it all. And actually, they didn't even stick to the most basic of formulas--you know, intro, rising action, climax and so on. The whole thing was just like...slapped together bullshit.
And at the end of it, you come away pretty much just hating people in general.
Ah well. 'S what I get for going to a movie I didn't even want to see.
Score: 1 out of 10
