Ok, well FIRST of all, how in FUCK'S NAME does Kakashi have the Mangekyou? I remember him awhile ago mentioning it, but I thought maybe I'd been mistaken. Holy FUCK. How does he have the Mangekyou? How come Naruto and Sakura are so nonchalant about it? Don't they know what it is? Is there another way to get the Mangekyou without killing your best friend? And if that's the case, that means that Sasuke and Kakashi are going to have to face each other one day, aren't they?

And XOMG, Sasuke just pulled a fucking ANAKIN and is trying to kill Orochimaru. He even has a freaking LIGHT SABER. Sorta. Though I wonder if he can do it. Can he kill a Sannin? Plus Kabuto, who's pretty badass himself? Well, he is Sasuke, and Sasuke can not only fly but even manages to make DRAWING A SWORD look sexy. And you know, I never fangirled him before, and I still don't really, but that first bit of the first Shippuden episode when he fucking FLIES down and...oh my god, that was the sexiest sword draw ever, and I never thought I'd think of anything Sasuke did as sexy, and this all probably makes me sound rather pathetic and mildly insane, doesn't it?

But yeah, Sasuke is one psychotic motherfucker at this point and he's going to kill Orochimaru. And even if he doesn't pull it off, this should be interesting.



Oh and I saw the third episode of the Shippuden, and now I remember why I love Sakura and Kakashi and of course Naruto himself.

And to reiterate:

Gaara. Is. The. Shit.

And every time I hear that freaking Darth-Vader-Akatsuki music come on I DIE. In a good way. It's sort of orgasmic.

Of course they don't know what the Mangekyou Sharingan is. The point is that either Kakashi found another way or he holds himself responsible for Obito's death, making it the same as having killed his best friend.

As for Sasuke's betrayal, I think he has a lot on his side: Sasuke has pretty much learned everything he needs to, Orochimaru is currently bedridden, Sasuke is using a jutsu Orochimaru didn't know he had, Sasuke has the drop on him, and Kabuto has always seemed like he might eventually betray Orochimaru, so he might help in the end. Frankly, I thought Orochimaru was starting to get old and I won't really miss him. Besides, Akatsuki is far more badass.

Alec is convinced Sasuke won't be able to pull it off, but I'm not so sure. I mean, Sasuke seems to have planned this carefully. I guess we'll see.

Actually yeah, that makes sense, since Sasuke never actually told Naruto why he was trying to kill him and stuff. But it seems like the terms of the Mangekyou are pretty absolute; like, you have to literally kill your best friend, and I don't think you could really construe it as Kakashi causing Obito's death...and in any case, he should have then developed the Mangekyou right away. So I guess he found another way to do it. But that means that Sasuke will one day face him and force the answer, which is also why I'm worried.

Heh heh, I'm kinda hoping Sasuke pulls it off, I'm just wondering what he'll do afterwards. Go straight for Itachi or hand around awhile? I'm looking forward to the fight, though.

By the way, I'm giving up on trying to cancel the battery order since I can't reach the people. So could you install that battery you have for me? Then I can just eBay the other one and pay you back.

Honestly we don't know enough about how the MS works. I mean, how does killing your best friend give you such an ability? Perhaps it's just seeing your friend's death that does it, but since you can't guarantee being around for such a thing to happen, the best way is to cause the death yourself. And perhaps Kakashi HAS been able to use MS all this time, but since it wipes him out to the point of hospitalization, he's only ever used it against Deidara.

I'd be happy to install the battery for you. Pop over tomorrow and I'll get right to it. ^_^

Dude, I'd completely forgotten about the fight with Deidara. He did use it then, didn't he? Hum. It's true that we don't know much about the Mangekyou, but something tells me this is something he developed recently. During the Country of the Waves arc he kept referring to his secret weapon as, variably, his Sharingan and his Chidori. I think he mentioned something about "getting more training" or something around the time that Naruto left and Sakura started taking lessons from Tsunade. *shrug* I guess all will be revealed eventually.

Yay! I'll probably be over at 1 or 2.
