So, my iPod is dead.

Or rather, the battery is dead. In any case, it won't turn on.

There's this website, www.longlastbattery.com that sells battery replacements, but the question is, should I get it professionally installed or install it myself? I've seen the inside of an iPod and it doesn't seem like it would be that hard. Still, I'd rather not fuck things up, so I dunno. Or should I not even trust this site and get it done through Apple itself (which'll no doubt cost more)?

My poor little Bob the Pod. He's so...blank right now.

Ooh ooh ooh! What kind of iPod is it? If it's the older kind (the kind that doesn't play videos), I have a replacement battery you can have. I'll even install it for you. I got it to fix someone else's iPod, but it ended up not working because (I think) the hard drive was dead. I was hoping I could put the thing to good use.

I shall do what I can to save Bob ^_^
