It DID Kill Me

It really did. When I finished, I leaned back and took a deep breath and started crying.

Wow. And again, I don't know how good it is, since I haven't read it over and I'm taking a short break from writing right now. But it made me cry, so that's something. And this is the scene I wanted to get out since I first figured out the details of E's past.

Oh man. It was so tough to write. It didn't help that it's like a billion degrees here. It got to the point that I literally couldn't stay in my room, so I moved downstairs to the living room, then to the dining room, then to the family room, and most recently back up here to my room. It's actually cool now. And hopefully the AC guys are coming tomorrow.

Man. Poor E. Poor little Demon. I feel so bad for him. Things are only going to get worse, both for him and for Kail.

And jeez now I'm up to 347 pages. How insane is that? It's gonna top 500 before I'm done. Yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to break this up into two books. Fuck, maybe even three.

I've pretty much been writing all day, though I did go out and get my prescription refilled and bought the last two Descendants of Darkness. At least the last two that are on the shelves, up to volume 11. Haven't read them yet. Haven't read Monster either. All in good time.

So that's that. I figure I'll watch an episode of Honey and Clover or something and then go back to writing. Now I want to do the aftermath scene where E spills his guts--finally--to Kail. And shortly after that is when Scryes shows up, which is gonna be XOMG, probably as awesome as the J scene. Although that won't have any fighting--just a lot of talk. We'll finally learn just who Scryes is (though I've been dropping hints everywhere), what his motives are and all that good stuff. And why he has it in for Boone.

This is why I love writing. o.O

New Glasses

Oh man. They're so weird. Like nothing I've had before. Plastic frames, for one thing, and they're red in front with blue and flowers on the sides. And there are a lot of corners. So they look like a cross between evil librarian glasses and bitch glasses. Oh man, I dunno. I dunno if I like em or not. They're such a big change.

Endoscopy tomorrow, bright and early. My dad's going to go into work late so he can drive me there and back. I can't eat after 11 PM tonight, not that I usually do. And Ips is gonna hang out with me for much of the day tomorrow to make sure I don't pass out or anything weird--by my Dad's recommendation. Sometimes I wonder if he's more paranoid than I am.

I read over the J scene, and the beginning is pretty shaky, but I think most of the rest of it is pretty good. I'm pleased with it, at any rate. Now I'm working on the aftermath, where Kail confronts E about everything and is kind of an asshole. Still, if the guy I loved had been lying to me/keeping secrets for five years I'd be pretty pissed too. Right now I think the scene is a little...off. E is acting really vulnerable, which he never does, not even when he's about to be dumped (not a spoiler! I'm just using that word for explanatory purposes! Don't worry!) And now we know why! Poor tortured little E.

Gah, these glasses. They're kinda hard to see through too.

Oh I had a shitload of X% off coupons for Borders DVDs so, in true form, I went and bought FMA 10, the Bebop movie and Castle in the Sky.

Hoom.

Oh, I'm also gonna post the first chapter of my fanfic later today. And I'll put up a link here.
