Forgot to mention this. Julie has invited me to go to Confluence in Pittsburg at the end of July. It's a literary sci-fi and fantasy con. I really want to go--the catch is that I have to pay for most of it. So I really, desperately need to get a job. So from here on out I have to try really hard to find a job.

I'm watching 9 to 5 right now. I love this movie.

Look, I got a gun out there in my purse, and I've been forgiving and forgetting up till now because of the way I was brought up, but I'll tell you one thing. If you ever lay a finger on me again or make another indecent proposal, I'm gonna get that gun of mine and I'm gonna change you from a rooster to a hen with one shot!

My parents said I could have a gin and tonic, but I made the mistake of mixing it myself. Little too much gin. That was a few hours ago, so I'm all good now.

Once again I'm running out of places to apply to for a job, but I'm going to physically go to the Sheraton and the Marriott to see if they have night clerk positions. I think that'd be a good job for me. I'm also gonna probably apply at the movie theater, TJ Maxx and Mervyns...if I can find the latter.

Minor aside here--what is it with animes and people coughing up blood? It's always the same--someone's too stressed out and ends up coughing up blood and gets sent to the hospital. I mean, that's terrible! Does it really happen that often? I mean people get stomach ulcers, but...

Ah, I should just give it up. There are some things about anime that simply no one can understand.
