GRAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Feb. 1st, 2006 10:57 pmThe title is there because I just discovered something relatively shocking concerning my family, and it's gotten me into a "mummy-roar-and-then-break-some-faces" kind of mood.
Right, so I saw that shrink on Monday as I was coming off a panic attack, and I'm going in for a medication consult on Friday and then another session with the counsellor next Monday. Fortunately, though, I've gotten a bit better the past few days, mostly because I've realized that my over-active imagination, coupled with really irrational fears, is mostly the cause of these "holy shit, I have X" or "holy shit, I had a though I must be X" things.
It won't necessarily last, though, because my mind takes over during times when I'm not working on something. That's when irrationality takes over. But whatever. Life. Hopefully I'll have meds by this Friday.
Saw Hero yesterday, that Chinese movie about Jet Li as an assassin in, like, 300 BC. It was amazing on all levels. It was an incredible story, had the most astounding visuals (people kicking off of water and sword fighting! *spaz*) and had a totally awesome soundtrack that I really, really want. Very good on all levels.
Oh, and Julie's turned me on to Gundam Wing the original, which we've been watching the past few days. It's not as little-kiddish as I thought--but then, no anime really is. Daytime Cartoon Network just sterilizes things for young eyes.
I have fish! I told you all I got a tank set up, right? Now there are fish in it. Two little white cloud minnows and a betta (Japanese fighting fish). They're doing alright so far, but the minnows are school fish, so they seem kind of lonely--I think I'll get one or two more. I've named them, too--Twitch and Spike are the minnows, and the betta's name is Tango. Pretty sweet. I like them.
Samurai Champloo on tonight. I get to find out if Jin dies. Oh, and the second to last FLCL was on Monday, one of the ones I haven't seen. Yeah, not making any more sense of that show than before, but I still love it.
Despite all this talk I'm still in a "mummy-roar-and-then-break-some-faces" mood. If I've read things right, anyway. Yeah. Pissed. Mm. Graaaa...
