We saw a bear in Yosemite. I think I forgot to mention that.
So anyway, editing for Alch. 1 is still slugging along at--you guessed it--slug's pace. I STILL haven't gotten around to making character charts because I'm just lazy like that.
Meanwhile my muse has been active. She remained silent during the last stages of Alch. 1 because I was really into it, but now she's unleashing all these strange ideas. She's actually trying to convince me to try my hand at sci-fi. Plus I've got this new idea for a story. *sigh*. The muse can be a curse.
Saw Kill Bill Vol. 2 yesterday. Nothing like coming in at the end of a series (I haven't seen Vol. 1). I guess the first one is more violent, because this one wasn't too suprising. But it was weird, like in a twisted way--probably because I've never seen a Tarantino movie before. It was like...Tim Burton on acid growing up during the Bosnian genocide. Or something.
That's the way.
Well, today I'm free to do much of everything or nothing, so I hereby resolve to make those character charts. I've found some characters that may very well need to be either expanded or disposed of. And I don't really want to kill characters entirely, but editing may demand it. So it goes.
It may be longer than I thought before I can send a copy to my First Reader. Ah, well. You don't need to be bothered with it just at the start of school, eh? I'll wait a while.
