Maddy sat behind me in chem. Claire I knew in band. Jimmy was friends with us for a time there during freshman year. Paul has been in classes before. Same with Brian. Everyone knew Zekee. Everyone knew Kristen.
And Mark, Amy, Cat, Mario, Derek...

Well, needless to say, the day has been a downright downer. I suppose it'd be worse if someone I knew personally "died." I don't envy those people's families...'course, I don't envy those people either. I'd forgotten that you had to write letters to your parents. It's gotta be surreal.

The crash was interesting. Actually, I was expecting it to be different. The actors weren't as convincing as they could have been, but I cried. Cat asking the fireman if Derek was going to be OK and the fireman answering that he didn't know, that was just sad. And it was depressing when they wrapped Mark up and shipped him away.

So, I'm just kinda depressed, and I'm upset that our group didn't sit together. It was one of those days where you sit with your friends and be thankful you're together or whatever, you know?
