Nothing New Under Sol

Hmm...
So I finished Descendants of Darkness--the anime--and it does indeed end in a relatively crappy place, but it does tie things up pretty nicely. It's also a show that reminds me of the ASIC catch phrase, "Japanese is all about sad excuses to use English." Seriously. If you think English dubs are painful, try watching it in the Japanese and then having the characters start speaking English for one reason or another. It's enough to make you want to curl up and die.
This means I'm almost officially out of anime and manga. Other than Immortal Rain--which I haven't found volume 5 to--Peacemaker--which has no volume 4 that I can find--and Black Cat--which has about 13 more episodes. Which is all good and fine, I suppose, since I'm gonna jump right back into it all once Jules and I are roommates, and this way the next week I can focus on writing.
Or at least I could...but after finishing the scene with Scryes and Boone last night I have...no idea where to go. I mean, go, yeah--it's the connective tissue, like always. I have all these scenarios for the next scene, but I'm not sure what to do. I need Hex to offer up her boat again, because flying anywhere would be dangerous; I also need a Tagrang scene with him and Hex (because after what's happened with E and Kail, Hex's doubts have only gotten bigger). And of course I need the scene where Boone faces the Council. I just don't know how to connect up everything.
That probably made no sense! Sorry.
I had weird, depressing dreams last night that I think had to do with Descendants and listening to Aimee Mann all night and writing the Boone-Scryes scene.
There's also the fic to think about, the Penta rewrite, and this new idea, which I'd like to work with as maybe a short project.
The idea? Sci-fi--ish--for once! In the future there are these junkyards the size of cities, and its where the rejects of society have come to call home. The rest of the world refers to them as "junkyard dogs," which is actually the project's title. And pretty much it'll follow four such dogs through...something. Yeah, plot? What's that?
Anyway.
All I ever talk about is writing and anime.
