Sent off a package to Ithaca today--books and my coffeepot. Then decided I didn't really want to get out of the car, so I went to the mall to get my last box of See's--woot! While I was there it occured to me that Suncoast would be a good place to look for anime (better selection than Best Buy...sorta). So I picked up the 5th session of Cowboy Bebop which had the only episodes I hadn't seen. Also got an FLCL soundtrack. Then came home and downloaded even more anime music. Just cause I like it. Particularly anything even remotely connected to Yoko Kanno. <3
Not much else happened.
I've resolved to show my Mom the Lost pilot very soon. Because the pilot is...art. It's practically a movie. A-maze-ing.
Hm. Mot is going pretty smoothly, excpet that I'm not entirely sure where to go now. It's also occured to me that Mot might very well not be published or accepted in the fantasy community. Not that I know what the public wants, but this isn't the most conventional of fantasies, plus it has gay characters, which eliminates a fair portion of the audience. Maybe, anyway. I have much more confidence in Penta getting published, but then...I dunno. The writing for that one is a lot less developed than in Penta, simply cause I started writing it two years ago. I'm considering overhauling the entire thing--rewriting it, not making any really big changes, but updating the style. It needs another run through anyway, and I really wish I had a First Reader for it. It needs fresh eyes.
