Don't Go Chasing Waterfalls!

Intersting break. Pity it's over.
Thursday we (being Julie and Molly) danced in the rain and went to ASIC. They showed a new anime (since no one was there) that proved to be quite interesting called Narutaru (not to be confused with Naruto). They won't be showing it again but I for one was intrigued and would like to see more.
Friday we went hiking early at Buttermilk Falls. 'Twas very, very awesome. We hiked this sort of staircase along the falls and up the river, stopping here and there for trail mix. It was a bit drizzly, but nothing to bark about. The hike overall was something like three miles; then we went from Buttermilk back into town to visit Pets Mart (to see the kitties!) Barnes and Nobles and Wegmans. We also decided to have a movie night. When we got back my feet were aching, and after Firefly (we missed half of it) they came up. We watched Moulin Rouge which Julie had never seen and which went over quite well, then we watched Monty Python's The Meaning of Life which neither of them had seen and didn't go over well at all (*sigh*).
Saturday my Dad came out! We went out early into town and had breakfast at this nice bagel shop. We wandered around the Commons for a bit and I pointed out the hippies. We then hiked up Taughanock Falls and checked out the Cayuga Lake, then went to Ithaca Falls (there's a lot of waterfalls here). That night we had dinner with Molly and Julie at the Moosewood (where else?). Amazing food, as ever.
This morning we went to the Mahogany Grill for Sunday Brunch (also amazing food) and pretty much right afterward Dad had to leave. I sent him back with a pile of books and some cash to put into my savings account.
And thus break ends. It's one-thirty and I'm still typing the rough draft of my essay that's due tomorrow.
really gotta finish up though, my roomie's already asleep
