talkingsoupWAUGH, thank every god there is that it's friday and that it's finally, finally winter break. Today was such a throw away day--we did absolutely nothing but watch movies or discuss music. Literally. Movies for my first four periods! And I slept most of the time in photo.
Had a freak out in civics because Ips hadn't shown up and the community service was due and her mom was going to give her and me a letter for the twenty hours we didn't actually do. She finally showed up but I had also left the service write-up at home, so Ips was going home anyway and she went and e-mailed it to me. Woot. Alls well that ends well.
Turned in my calendar today, so that's done.
Am training myself to write in Futhark. Since I get so paranoid about people reading what I'm writing in my notebooks I figured, hey, why not make it impossible to read and all problems are solv-ed? It's an issue because Futhark is kind of spiky and stuff, and it's easy to make Mannaz look like Dagaz. And I keep forgeting that Eiwaz is "ei" not "s". It does look like an s though. Also Futhark has no x, q or v, and instead has th, ng and ei. It'll be a while before I can write fast in it, but oh well.
Got NOTHING done on Penta, even with all the sugar I've cosumed today. The muse is taking a much deserved rest I think--I've been running around all day. Now that homework is out of the way I need to focus on figuring out an ice ritual for monday and a Yule thing for tuesday.
