I thought it was something like that, but I was withholding judgment until I knew more. I'd heard the word "regenerate" thrown around on the Internet as well, plus the fact that the actor changes in the second season.
But I suppose this means he "dies" at the end of this season, huh? Heh, spoilers.
Although if they can regenerate, how come he's the last one?? Unless the Time War totally fucked things up--which it sounds like it did.
