My Persuasive Agrument teacher, Bob Klier, has absolutely no luck.
A few weeks ago he was out two days in a row due to serious illness that turned out to be an ulcer brought on by an infection or something.
Then a week or so ago he was out for a day because his wife's father died and he had to go to the funeral.
So. In order to cheer his wife up, he offered to take care of someone's kitten. The kitten bit his wife on the finger so they had to give it to the shelter. And when they tested it, guess what? Rabies.
I mean, how often do cats get rabies? Like, never! Who the hell cursed this guy and his family??
His wife got the shots, though, so she should be fine.
