I Wanna Rock And Roll All Night!

Ben's concert was the shizz. He says they messed up a lot, but who cares? It was awesome! They play really really well, and I could tell Ben had a good time. Here Lies Vera was the third band up. The first band was more toward punk rock than anything, and they were really good--the second band was decent but it was hard to tell one song from the other. Vera was really good (of course I'm biased), but the thing was, you could tell one song from the next, and you could tell they'd put a lot of thought into things. It's not the kind of music I'd listen to, but it was really fun. Loud, but fun. I'm proud of him. And I don't say that often. ^.^

Yesterday the fam minus Ben went to Lick Observatory, which has two large, old scopes that are free to the public at certain times. We do this once a year. It was hella boring, but I brought a book to read so it wasn't all bad, plus the view from the scopes was as good as ever.

It's been an unproductive few days so I'm hoping to get back on the ball tonight.

Oh, and I'm so going to Snakes on a Plane tomorrow night. Who's with?
