I really don't want to work there, but I'm running out of options, and the 'rents are still on my ass about it (paid them back $100 today outta the paycheck). Yeah, picked up my first paycheck too--$295 total! *dies* That's only for five days. Wow, if I could work at Nordstrom part-time instead of just this sale-only crap...
Borders called me about my special order for Yami no Matsuei 3, because I was sick of going in and seeing 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11. So I went in to pick it up and what should I find??
The VERY LAST KENSHIN.
Hoo-boy. Bitches wrapped it in plastic so I couldn't read it in-store. So I broke down and bought it. So I officially own only the very last volume of the series and Juliekins owns all the rest. Ahhh, Kenshin looks so happy on the cover. But I'm afraid. One of the greatest mangas ever coming to an end. If someone dies....
Ah, didn't get as much writing done last night as I wanted to. Read over and picked at some of the previous bits. Wrote the "heart-to-heart" between Morgan and Boone--that one needs going over. Next up...well, Hex or Tagrang should take the mic soon, but E and Kail need their reconciliation bit right now. Because I'm gonna use this to segue into the next Big Event which is--you guessed it--the coming of J. Hoo-boy.
If all goes well I'll have them back at sea in only a few days. Let's see...J, Scryes, Apprenticeship ceremony, some connective tissue to glue things together--that'll about do it. Two, three days (in their world) at the most. Then the story can continue! Violence! Monsters! It's gonna be fun.
