Where are the jobs? Where are they all hiding? Why can I not catch one? You know, when I was writing the E and Kail backstory, for half the story both of them are trying to find jobs, and it takes forever, despite both of them spending almost 12 hours a day searching. And while I wrote I was thinking, "Well, this can't really be realistic. There's always somewhere hiring." Ha! Ha, I say! Now I know the truth.
Guh. I would have applied at the Four Points Sheraton and the Courtyard today but my one nice shirt is in the laundry. I did call Office Max since they told me to call today, but nooooo, the store manager isn't in Thursday, she's in Friday! I didn't know how similar "Thursday" sounds to "Friday!" *koff*
To alleviate my bad mood I went out and got the latest FMA, Black Cat and Death Note. But then I realized, you know how much it sucks to pick up a volume and know what's gonna be coming in the next one. Oh man.
Today's gonna be a writing day. I'm in a Tagrang scene where he and Hex talk about their feeling and stuff, and right after this is one of the scenes I've been wanting to write forever. Oh maaaaan, it's gonna be sweet. Sort of. Not for my characters. Intense is the word, I think.
I want to go to Confluence with Jules, but even if I were to get a job tomorrow I doubt I'd be able to pay for it. I don't know...
