Well, now I know what alcohol does alongside Lexapro.

Two shots, man. Two shots--mixed with coke! I mean, it's not like I was measuring, but it really couldn't have been more than two and a half. Granted, I drank it pretty quickly, but come on now--two shots should not get someone that drunk. Not that I was acting weird, but the room certainly was tilting quite a bit. I didn't black out, and there were no weird side effects from the Lex, but maaan...it certainly felt wasted. And let's see, that was at midnight, and I was still feeling it when I woke up in the middle of the night around three or so. How crazy is that?

Note to self: when on Lexapro, two shots will more than do it.

It occurs to me that when they say, "Don't take with alcohol" they really mean "Do not drink EVAR when you're on this med." It also occurs to me, given last night, that I should heed this particular warning. Frankly I just wanted to know what would happen, and it's not like I took my pill and got drunk straightaway. Don't worry, I'm not an idiot.

So I think I'm going to make getting drunk while on meds a rarity, if I do it at all. Not that I make a habit of getting drunk. This is honestly only the second time, and like the fourth time I've drank at all. Well...I'm exaggerating on that one, but I don't want to count.

Seriously, when I got home I tried walking a straight line and fell into a wall. Two shots...if not for the drugs I'd say that's pretty pathetic.

"Making the rounds," that's what Liz called it. We didn't stay in one place last night for more than an hour. We stopped at her friend's house to get all prettyful. Liz straightened my hair and did my makeup, and at this point I'm just resigned to whatever Liz wants to do to me (I don't like makeup, in all honesty). We went from there to this kid's apartment for a birthday party (some party). I'd been there before, last week I think. Corrina, the girl who's living at Liz's place (long story), 's boyfriend was turning 21 and was late to his own party because he's pretty much a fuckhead. We were there about ten minutes (things were awkward cause this guy who doesn't like Liz was there) and then we went to find this party in Danville.

This one was a real party, except it was a high school party which...is pretty awkward, since we're talking all 16 year olds here. Which is awkward in and of itself, more so because if it got busted up we, the old folks, would be in trouble. We left pretty quickly, found our way back to the highway and went to this pool at the same apartment complex as before to meet up with a friend of Liz's. This was all outside so it was rather cold, and it was all these guy friends with one of their friends who was back from Iraq, so it was very...exclusive, I guess is the word. We went from there to this other kid's house who I think was friends with Liz (she knows so many people it's hard to keep up). That's where we landed for about an hour or so, and where I got drunk on my two shots of vodka mixed with like half a can of coke each. I wasn't really paying attention to what was going on...they were watching TV and poor Liz was bored and cold and falling asleep. After that we all went home.

Anyway. My interview is at five today. I need a shower and prettyful clothes and to actually know what to say at this thing. Never had an interview before.

Hm. Drama continues, although not from the family front, for now. Lot's of F's in that sentence.

My interview went well! The girl I talked to liked me, I think. We kind of got talking about Lost when I mentioned I watch it in my spare time, and she was telling me how she hasn't seen the finale yet. Ho ho, man. Anyway, I'm supposed to get a call from her Thursday. And between now and then I need to find someone who she can call for references. SMiller should work, if I can get in touch with her. Can't really think of anyone else...I'd hate to have to reference Mrs. MacLaughlin, if only because I don't like her and I don't think she likes me. But then, the Mac could tell her about yearbook...so maybe I'll try them both.
