Musings and Whatnot

Good song.
I think the only reason anyone wants to claim that homosexuality is a choice (cuz yeah, people always CHOOSE to be spit on) is because it scares the shit out of them that homosexuality might be genetic, and therefore unavoidable. It makes them feel safer to believe that you have to make a conscious decision to be gay, because that means that it won't happen to them. "Dude, as long as I don't choose to be gay, I won't become gay!"
Not in a very good mood today. Too much work yesterday, too little motivation to go to school, too little sleep, and I had to wear this fucking huge-ass polo prep shirt and felt like a jackass all day long. Finally, tho, the Civics project, WR project, and SJ essay are all done. I want to write, but I'm stuck. I don't know who my main character is, is one of my main problems--I mean, I know who's supposed to be the main guy, but he just isn't all that important. I like some of the other characters better, the vampire (Kazriel) in particular. Also, after sixteen shitty pages, I realize maybe I should write it in first person. Or in first person with all seven characters getting chapters and stuff. Or write it in third person, but have some first person stuff at the beginning of chapters. I want to hear from my characters. But I don't really want to write it in just one person, and writing it in seven-person or whatever is complicated. I'm having enough trouble writing this other story I have in two-person. Man, what is the term for that? Two-person-first-person? Hell if I know.
Checked out Malcom X's autobio today, because I've heard its good and I'm in a political mood. I wonder why?
I love my insane half-vampire. Hey, it's possible in my little world.
