Egads, my subjects have nothing to do with anything!
Ha! Got my fix at Borders. Got four books I wanted to read but had no opportunity to get. Lessee here...The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, which one a Pulitzer, Little Children which is about when a child molester moves into a suburban town (and how ppl deal with it), The Orchid Thief, which I wanted to read even before I saw Adaptation, and Abarat 2, which I've been waiting for for some time.
I got up at noon today.
I've been copying good poems from this book I have to Word. I'm in the middle of copying The Lady of Shalott. Which no one has heard of, save those pitiful few who've seen Anne of Green Gables, but is very very good. *purr*. I like old poetry. The contemporary New Yorker type stuff is just so...weird. I don't like much contemporary art. The only good contemporary art form is writing. Which no one sees as an art form anyway. Fools.
Gods. I really should start looking at community service things. Shits. I need 20 hrs soon, and I haven't even started. I want to work for the Kerry campaign. Like California needs any convincing to vote for him. 53 electoral votes in his pocket already. Well. It's community service, and it's something I won't be bored doing. That on top of college apps and a Las Po app so I can take a science class. Ugh.
Party tonight, but I probably can't go. Anime block too--Wolf's Rain series finale. Eep! Eep! Meep! Hoomba! Woot woot bang-pop!

Ooh, I thought of a new character that I'm looking for a place to plug him in. He's an insane four-legged cat-like thing that is a nexus of power and has the capacity to destroy the world. You can see why he's insane. All that power running through him? Yeah. Anyway, I'm sniffing for a place I can plug him into--not Alch, obviously. His mere existence would throw off everything, and I already have one talking animal there. Maybe Skye and Jinx, cause that whole thing has a vein of insanity running through it anyway.
