Ugh. This weekend has been boring. For some reason I was under the impression that I had a lot to do this weekend, but I guess I don't. Ah, well. I've gotten a bit done on some of my writing projects, but my muse has yet to decide which one to focus on. It's not good to be working on all these projects at the same time. At least Christina helped fix up on Alch. 1.
Hmm, well, I spent the last few hours cleaning house--vacuuming, tearing the shit out of weeds--but you don't want to hear about that. Who the hell wants to hear me talk about my battle with the Axis of Evil Weeds in our front "yard?" I've been watching the news, and apparently Mrs. Helens is going to explode sometime today, so I've been keeping an eye on it--there is really nothing else to do around here but watch the volcanocam. Gods, I have no life.
Liz and the band should be on the halftime show at the niner's game tonight, but I dunno if I'll be watching.
Last night's anime block was rather depressing. Toboe and Quent died. Hmm. I hate when anime shows have one damn season, then vanish. Would it hurt to give Wolf's Rain an extra season? Or to have given Cowboy Bebop another season? But no, we just like giving you ONE season and then killing the main characters at the end. It's funner that way, right? Inuyasha, meantime, has finally found itself an interesting plot point, and Trigun, I get the sense, is closer to the end than Wolf's Rain--not that I know enough about that show to determine that. Is Trigun still running, or are all these shows reruns? Who knows?
Gods, I just realized that the largest paragraph in this update is dedicated to anime. I really don't have a life.
