Keep Forgetting

Forgot to mention this, but I finally saw Saw the other morning when my brother put it on at about six AM. Wasn't too thrilled at first since I'm not a big gorefest fan, but it turned out to actually be really good. It takes talent, for one thing, to shoot almost an entire movie in a single room, especially a horror. The twist at the end was brilliant--I didn't see it coming until the last second.
And it was kind of funny, because the actor who plays Ben of the Others in Lost was one of the bad guys. Heh heh heh...
It wasn't all that gory, either. Most of the blood looked fake. But it wasn't one of these cheap horror movies that depends entirely on gratuitous violence and blood. Like Cabin Fever, which is funny for how ridiculous it is.
Anyway. Saw. A good psychological horror movie, yes.
Score: 7.5 out of 10
