Where Did The Break Go?

So, Trinity Blood? Is like, the shit. Seriously, only a few episodes in and it's already one of my favorites. Abel Nightroad is awesome. He's got the sweet, klutzy, food-crazy personality that I love about Vash, the righteous "changes people" thing that Naruto has, the obligatory "mysterious!dark!past!", and the "dood I kill ur FACE" thing that is uniquely Abel. Sort of. And I utterly love Tres. Fricking Gunslinger. He's so awesome, plus he's a robot. Woot for robots that aren't mecha (though I have nothing against mecha...not really...). The story may be really similar to certain other anime, but it's also got its own uniqueness. Vampires! From outer space! I think...like any good anime, it's completely obscure and confusing, but I think they're vampires from outer space or something. "Vampires and the things that eat them." Nya hahaha...

Anyway, yes. Trinity Blood wins. And so does GetBackers for that matter, but I've said that already.

Have I ever mentioned how much I love the dark past theme? Gah! I love dark past. It's so common almost to the point of being a cliche in anime, but I love it.

Further proof that I have no life when I'm at home, eh? When all I've been doing is talking about anime and video games.

No House tonight, because American Idol was on, which is fine by me because I'm willing to wait 2 weeks to see what this "dark secret from House's past" is (more dark past!! You see, you see??). And also, the girl who did the Cowardly Lion impersonation tonight has become my new hero, because, really. I turn on the TV and there she is. I couldn't stop laughing. I don't think I've ever seen Simon look so horrified.

I've been in a sorta-kinda slump with writing since the fight scene, except for the recent bit with Hex and Tag. I do know where I'm going, but--like always--it's the connective tissue. I have some ideas, though, so hopefully I'll break through the roadblock tonight. Though I've also got to think of the next chapter of my fic, since I promised to have another chapter up before I go back.

My birthday is soon, which means Julie's birthday is soon too. Yikes. Twenty.

BTW, Pat. If you're at all interested in showing Haruhi Suzumiya AMVs at ASIC next semester, I can rec one really good one. The song is poppy, but fits her well.

I haven't seen Trinity Blood. Perhaps I should.

The lion-girl reminded me of a wookiee. Seriously.

I would be interested in seeing this AMV. What's the title?

TRINITY BLOOD! that show is so pretty. I love the art for that anime.

Hahaha! I didn't see her, but my mom said the exact same thing.

Oh. Lord. I am twenty tomorrow. Which means YOU are twenty the day after that. WEIRD.

Not bad. The song was a bit bubbly, but it was rather good. I'm not a huge Premonition Studios fan... They have some good ones, but they rarely wow me. They didn't wow me here, but it's a keeper.
