talkingsoupAh, let's face it. I have a short attention span. It's like being told you're at risk for X cancer because your parents/grandparents had it. And no, at this point, there's no denying I'm at risk for esophagael cancer, but there's no point worrying about it. Which sounds so weird coming from me, doesn't it?
Anyway, I'm going to see the specialist on Monday, so we'll know where we stand then.
So, yeah! On to happier things! The muse is at work; I'm coming up with all kinds of little ideas. Not like ideas--more like flashes, like you know how you get that feeling of inspiration but you're not sure what it's for? Like that. I picked at Mot last night. And I really want a First Reader for Penta. Haha, my Uncle Craig wants to read it. I'm a bit leery of sending it to him. Like I'm leery of showing my dear Kaz to anyone not familiar with my, um, unusualness.
Oh, and D. Gray Man and Immortal Rain are very much awesomeness. Unfortunately I caught DGM on its inception, so there's only 2 volumes out now, and hell, the third doesn't come out till November. Immortal Rain is a lot of awesome, and I think the series is complete. It's one of those no one ever talks about. I think it would make a good anime.
I've also downloaded up to chapter 317 of Naruto, but I haven't read anymore. Though I have a few questions
Where the hell did Kakashi get the Mangekyou? You have to kill your best friend to get it. Although when Sasuke refused to kill Naruto he told himself he'd find his own way to get the Mangekyou. Maybe Kakashi found an alternate route?
Oh, and, what the hell is Sasuke doing? It's gotta be getting close to the time when Orochimaru is going to take him over. I wonder how he's changed. He's probably more like Orochimaru and Itachi than he'd be willing to admit. Why doesn't he understand? He's doing exactly what Itachi wants him to do. He's becoming exactly like his brother. Although maybe a part of him understood that when he chose to leave Naruto alive.
And...who the hell is this Sai guy?
Ah, and--Yami no Matsuei works! I figured out that I have to toggle the subtitles on and off. The first episode was very cute. Very shojo, but very cute, plus Tsuzuki's talent for summoning giant flaming birds is just awesome.
And seeing Muraki in color almost made me wet myself. Like, he came on the screen and I physically cringed. God! What a villain!
Oh--oh--god, you have to read this. This is hilarious. There's no way it can be real. I found this on a girl's DA site (she wasn't happy about it, obviously) and I linked to it and the first two sentences made me laugh out loud. Oh man. You just have to read it, look:

Anime is a perverse, evil, insiduous form of animation from the dark land of Japan, and is corrupting America's youth at unprecedented rates. 1) Ah My Goddess: A sick and disgusting show which causes children under the age of 18 to think they are capable of love. The main female character is clearly under 18, and is forced into a romantic relationship by an older man who "wishes" for her to be his girlfriend forever. He even KISSES her, and she appears NAKED. That poor girl must be so confused.
2) Love Hina: I'm not even going to mention the unspeakable, disgusting, pedophilic, pornograhpic events which transpire during this show, but suffice it to say, groups of young men on Love Hina-fueled rampages are raping children at a level unheard of since the 60s.
If you are a parent or a decent human being, I urge you to sign this petition to ban all forms of anime in the United States. Anyone who is found in possesion of anime should be arrested and jailed for an exhorbant period of time. Anime is a dark scourge upon our beautiful nation, and we don't need this Japanese filth corrupting the hearts of the children.
As a resonsible Christian, I demand to see this garbage removed from our nation. Please sign this petition and send it to George Bush, your Congressman, and the makers/distributors of anime filth and depravity.
Do the right thing.

Do you know how hard it is to find the Peacemaker Kurogane Volume 4? Like, it's not even in the Amazon warehouses. I'm gonna have to look in other places. Man. It's not even that old. And there's no way it could have been so unpopular that it would be out of print.
