I realized how stupid it was to involve myself further in this. With Ben's help. Strangely enough. He got me to tell him the whole story and in so doing I realized how stupid the whole situation is. I mean...you should stick up for your friends, even when they're wrong, but you also need to be strong enough to tell them when they're doing something stupid. And sure I told her it was stupid, that the situation was fucked up, that she needs to find a different guy, but I dunno, she didn't listen.
I suppose in many ways she brought this on herself and I should have told her that from the beginning.
Whatev. I told her I won't go through with it. We'll see what happens.
