That's the sound my soul made when I saw the video game selection at both Hollywood and Blockbuster. It's the sound of a soul vomiting. Try to imagine that for a second. You can't can you?

In any case, they didn't have a single FF game at Blockbuster--not a single one!!!!--and nothing else that I recognized as being something of interest. Hollywood had FF X-2, which I haven't even heard of. They also didn't have the first Kingdom Hearts, which I've been thinking about picking up because I've heard good things about it, and I figure I should play the first one, you know, first. And nothing else from the recommendations I got.

I need video games. It's like a law--when anime junkies start running short on their drug of choice, they turn to the next best thing and play video games. Oh screw it, anime has nothing to do with it. I just want games. To occupy my time and entertain my mind and improve my motor skills and cetera.

Gah.

Yeah, Blockbuster is shit with videogames, and Hollywood's not a whole lot better. You'd be best off looking for a Game Stop, or other place that sells used/unused videogames for relatively cheap. You probably won't find any PS1 games offline -- like FF 8 or 9 -- but they'd probably have 10 (which is really good, though the acting kinda sucks) and Kingdom Hearts. And a lot of other games.

Amazon.com would definitely have some of the PS1 FF games -- I recently bought 8 there to replace my destroyed version. With their quality guarantee, it's pretty hard to get ripped off -- and if a user has a ridiculous amount of good reviews, then their word about the product's quality is probably trustworthy. They just usually take a while to ship.
