Why oh why don't I have anyone but my mom to watch with? She doesn't even like Lost. Maaaaan I am so missing the homies.

So tonight we found out what the hell Michael was doing for those thirteen days he was away. He got caught pretty much right after entering the forest, after Walt (?) told him where to go. Alex was even there! Michael was nearby when Sawyer, Jack and Kate got caught and had to turn the guns over. In any case, they brought him back to their camp, which was indeed like he said, much to my surprise. And they are indeed guarding a Hatch, the symbol of which looks rather like a soda can. Sort of. After spending quite some time getting questioned by "Miss Clue", they show him Walt, who tells him that they're pretending, that they're not who they seem. They make him take tests. When he starts giving things away Miss Clue tells him she'll put him back "in the room." Miss clue then asks Michael to free Henry Gale and bring Hurley, Jack, Sawyer and Kate back to the camp.

Two things right here--for one thing, they knew Sawyer's real name. You know, the name that only, what, Kate and Jack know? And I'm not even sure about Jack. How in HELL do they know Sawyer's name???? Unless they were listening in....The other thing is this. Not many people know Hurley's real name is Hugo, right? Only Charlie and Jack, I think, unless the info just sort of spread around naturally. When Michael went up to him in this episode, he called him Hugo. Why didn't Hurley pick up on it??

In any event, Michael spent most of this episode looking guilty and trying to convince Jack to follow him into the woods--though only with Jack, Hurley, Kate and Sawyer. Sayid demands to come, but Michael tells him to fuck off pretty much (at first I was pissed at Sayid when he conceded, but then at the end I realized). Hurley also says he's not coming. At the end, though, he agrees to come, and Sayid tells Jack that he thinks Michael has been compromised. I wanted to shout "NO, really, you think?!" at the screen, cause really, Jack should have picked up on it before then. We're lucky Sayid is smart.

And Sawyer told Jack that he considers him a friend!!!! Sort of! It was adorable! He looked so sheepish too.

And we finally saw Charlie again, after a long hiatus. Eko gave up on the church-building and decided to move in with his new friend the Button (I still don't understand, but I guess next week answers that one). Charlie wasn't happy. He also delivered the vaccine to Claire, the one Desmond was shooting up with I think. You have to take it every nine days, apparently. Charlie tested it on himself, too. As he was trying to solo-build the church, Vincent showed up with one of the Mary statues, and Charlie followed him back to Sawyer's (right?) stash, where he proceeded to throw all the statues in the ocean (with Locke watching). Woot! Yay Charlie! Claire is also warming back up to him, and I is happy!

And there's a boat. A sailboat. Not the Other's boat, I think, unless they have more than one.

This all gets weirder and weirder. Why do the Others go to the trouble of pretending to be all homely and barefoot and whatnot? What's in their Hatch? Obviously a computer and a place to do bloodwork, at the very least. And why do the Others want Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sawyer? Any way you look at it, it's a pretty random combination. And how the hell do they know their real names? Does this prove that it's all some kind of experiment, that they really are on the Island for a reason? Why are the Others so interested in "good" people when they're so blatantly, irretrievably, unapologetically evil? Except Alex, and perhaps any others they kidnapped who haven't been completely brain washed. And what the hell are they doing to Walt in that Hatch? "Tests?" This is worrying.

Augh. I have a feeling next week isn't going to be happy.

In other news...well, there isn't really any "other" news, except that my family is being stupid, arguing over little things, though I suppose it's the little things that matter, isn't it. Whatever. I wish I didn't have to be mediator.

I love the animation in Naruto. Have I ever mentioned this? I mean, I really love it. It's incredible. I mean, the action scenes. The action scenes. Especially this recent stuff with the one-on-one fights, my God are they amazing. Whooooo. Hinata is adorable and I like Lee a lot more now and Gaara is nuts (squirrely wrath). I've hit episode fifty. And unfortunately the next chunk is downloading really slowly. Internet's been slow the past week or so, too. It sucks.

Whhyyyyy is no one on??? I want to talk about Looooosssssttttt. Among other things.

Didn't apply anywhere today, will try tomorrow, though I can't think of any other places that I actually want to work at. Gah. I did read some today, and probably will later because things are getting very, very interesting, not that they weren't before. House of Leaves is seriously amazing. You should read it. No, I mean it, you should. Go now. Read. Read!
