So I just heard (via SEB) that Verizon is getting bitch-slapped with a $50 billion lawsuit for turning records over to the NSA. Guess what? It's against the law, and an act passed a few decades ago guarantees $1000 to each customer whose rights are violated. 50 million customers=$50 billion in reparations.
I let out a little cheer of joy when I read that.
In other news, I spent the better part of today applying for jobs. Library, Cost Plus and Office Max. Random, I know. Frankly I'm looking into anything that won't bore me, kill me or own my soul. I'm gonna apply to Sears later today online, as well. Maybe.
Also treated myself to my three missing mangas, namely Death Note 5, Monster 2 and FMA 7. It's kind of painful to read DN because every chapter brings us closer to what I know happens. *le sigh* Though I wonder what they'll do with the anime. After all, FMA followed the manga for awhile and then took a 90 degree turn away from any semblance of manga, changing entire themes (particularly involving the homunuculii and Hohenheim). Death Note might do the same. I hope I hope I hope! So long as it works. And so long as L doesn't die.
Umm, not much else to report except that I'm still working on Mot and the E and Kail backstory (one when I've got nothing for the other). I also found out something pertaining to Penta that might be interesting to play with. Plus reading DN got me thinking about Fox because he's similar to L, in some ways. L isn't quite as ridiculous. So the muse is pretty busy.
And there's a new House tonight, woot.
