*moo*
So the thon is tonight. Woot! Staying up all night once again to watch Bleach, fillers included--this is the height of nerdism. At least it's as far as I'll go in my dorkiness. For now ^.^
I got my prescription refilled. Unfortunately it's going to run out before I go back to check in with the doc, so I don't know what I'm going to do about that.
Sam 7 last night was pretty sweet. Katsushiro goes insane! Kyuzo is awesome (as usual)! Heihachi builds a BIG-ASS ballista that shoots an ENTIRE TREE (12 feet thick) at a giant robot and KILLS IT DEAD! Writing that set me into giggles. Tylor worked tonight. That's the most brilliant show ever. He's a genius. Only Tylor could escape certain destruction by dumping trash on the enemy. Oh man.
And we're watching Kenshin, me and Julie. I downloaded a BitTorrent thingy, which means we have hella more options for downloadabilityness. Though has ANYONE out there ever heard of OGM files, or even used them?? You'd think people would put video on a file type that people have actually heard of. But noooo.
We all live in a yellow submarine...
Well, I did my short story yesterday, and tried to print out all twenty-two fracking copies, but the copier died before it could print the last few seventh pages. So I couldn't turn in the short story, so I'll turn it in next Tuesday. Which is all good and well, because it's a piece of crap. I wanted to do my short story about Fox Adderwood--my hat-knitting treasure hunter--but that would have gone well over the six page limit, so I had to rethink it. And the only idea I could come up with was crappy. Fox Adderwood was going to be fun and campy and lighthearted, but this new story idea is depressing and morbid and everyone dies in it. Pretty much, four people are trapped when a building explodes, and they spend the next two days talking to each other and waiting to be rescued. Which they never are. And they eventually suffocate. Wonderful, huh?
I'm pleased with my essay for Personal Essay, though, because I like the topic (which I came up with at about midnight, the night before it was due). It's about grade-school fads. Y'all remember those, right? Tamagotchis, Beanie Babies, cat in the hat hats, etc. etc. It was so fun to write and reminisce about all of them. Oh man.
Love love love...love love love...love love love
Beatles kick, sorry.
Anyway, I've got an hour before my Soc TA session, and then Friday really begins! I'm all stocked for the thon tonight. Woot!
