Man Are We Fucked

Augh! I still haven't re-shot the scenes that got fucked with Ips in 'em, and due date is Thursday! And Nate hasn't returned the camera yet--argh! And he hasn't even SPOKEN to his sister about how editing is coming along! And we still need to do credits and the Fantasia scene and plug in Sympathy for the Devil at the end! OMFG! Augh, and now I'm using valley girl acroynyms!!

Gods help me!

*ahem* *us!*

At least the SJ project isn't due until next Wednesday. I thought it was this Friday, which would have really sucked. Thankfully I'm done on my part for the most part, but I have this sinking feeling that we are going to suck ass. My partners are nice guys (that I hardly know, really) but they don't seem very...enthusiastic. Not that I am, but it's a final project so you'd think they'd be a tad bit more concerned. Well. Maybe I'm just weird. *shrug*

In the meantime I have about six assigments due in Photo by Thursday, which is portfolio check. And I have my astronomy class at Las Po tomorrow too, so that's about two hours that I can't do work. Man am I going to be glad when all this finals bullshit is over.

Watched Invitation to Poetry yesterday (after I had cooled off from FarenHYPE). It's basically this PBS project where they find random people and have them read their favorite poems. The DVD came in this book by the same title I got for X-Mas (a really good book, btw). It's good to see all these people reading their poems and telling what them mean to them and reacting to them, but the thing is DAMN LONG--like three hours I think.

Now for a random rant of the day: why are conservatives such sore winners? All you hear from the right are people complaining about the downfall of moral values blah blah blah, but these people control the House, the Senate, the President, the Supreme Court and church attendance is the HIGHEST it has been in the entire history of this country. What's to complain about? It's almost pathological.

But oh well. People are weird.
